La città di Rossano diventa set cinematografico insieme al litorale Jonico marino. Al via le riprese del film 'La Zattera'.
A darne notizia sono i cugini di Renato, Dorinda Ceraolo (artista del circo acquatico) ed il fratello Euristeo Ceraolo, noto per le sue battaglie particolari sul precariato (con la provocazione che voleva sposare la Carfagna per sistemarsi) e, da pendolare, per il ripristino degli intercity Milano – Crotone.
Rossano, si legge in una nota, in questo mese di aprile si trasformerà in un set cinematografico per le riprese di un film che coinvolgerà più di 40 persone tra personaggi e comparse.
La storia parla di due fratelli che si incontrano dopo tanti anni a Rossano e per festeggiare questo evento decidono di partire a bordo di una zattera con destinazione “Nikolaos” in Grecia. Avventure e disavventure in mezzo al mare con un finale che arriva direttamente al cuore.
Sono in corso i sopralluoghi per individuare le “location” delle riprese, all’interno della cittadina Jonica.
Saranno le vie del centro storico e dello Scalo di Rossano che faranno da cornice a diverse scene della pellicola diretta dal regista Angelo Rizzo; attore protagonista il rossanese Renato Converso, che interpreterà Rocco, e Norberto Midani nel ruolo di Geppino, con la partecipazione dell’attrice cubana July del Rey e l'attrice spagnola Deborah Sánz, organizzatore Giorgio Ciceroni, direttore fotografia operatore Roberto Riccitelli, costumista Maria Fernandez.
RENATO CONVERSO, nato a Rossano Calabro la notte di San Lorenzo del 1952, “trapiantato” a Milano per lavoro, comico, attore, presentatore e scopritore di nuovi talenti, è autore di diversi libri di successo tra cui citiamo: “Comici mica da ridere!”, “Vino e Zucchero” e la sua recente opera in un Dvd <<Una storia così...tanto per ridere>> film documentario su “uno delle ultime maschere della commedia dell'arte”, così come lo definì successivamente il Corriere della Sera .
Per la televisione approda a Canale 5 nel programma “Raffaella Carrà show”, lavorando anche con artisti del calibro di Diego Abbatantuono, Massimo Boldi, Francesco Salvi, Enzo Iacchetti, Giobbe Covatta, Gianni Cajafa, e molti altri.
Nel 1984 crea, a Milano, il suo locale "La Corte dei Miracoli": cabaret che nel giro di pochi anni diventò tempio assoluto della risata.
Dal suo locale sono passate più di 1 milione e 800 mila persone, tra le quali vi sono artisti, personaggi dello spettacolo e dello sport; sono usciti nomi illustri come il poeta catartico Flavio Oreglio, ma anche il Mago Forrest, Giacomo Poretti e Marina Massironi (del trio Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo), i Fichi D’India, Max Pisu, Max Pieriboni, Nando Timoteo, i Turbolenti, Marco Bazzoni e tanti altri ancora.
Renato, “maestro” di molti comici lanciati da trasmissioni di successo come Zelig e Colorado Cafè, si è spesso mostrato sensibile a tematiche sociali sostenendo anche l’iniziativa di Euristeo “precario-pendolare “ che, con la richiesta di una foto con i VIP (con lo slogan Vincere Il Precariato), ha mostrato solidarietà ai precari della scuola (in foto Euristeo e Renato a Rossano centro).
Le comparse sul set, ragazzi e ragazze di vent'anni ma anche signori e signore di una certa età, sono tutte di Rossano e dintorni e vedono in queste riprese la possibilità di vivere "un'esperienza diversa dal solito".
La conferenza stampa è prevista per le 18 di Domenica 13 aprile presso l’hotel Scigliano ubicato in v.le Regina Margherita di Rossano Scalo (Cs).
