Grande successo per la Quinta Edizione della mostra d'arte calabrese “L'artisti a Bagnara e...” promossa dalla Società Operaia di Mutuo Soccorso, svoltasi sabato 29 marzo a Bagnara Calabra. Una vera e propria panoramica del fermento culturale presente nel territorio calabrese, che ha visto come protagonisti diversi artisti e letterati alle prese con pittura, scultura, ceramica, fotografia, bricolage, intaglio del legno o del marmo, storia, musica, letteratura, danza, teatro.
Cominciato in ritardo per problemi tecnici dell'ultim'ora e per una iniziale esigua affluenza, l'evento è stato improvvisamente investito da una fiumana di gente che, quasi a perdi fiato, ha gareggiato caoticamente con gli altri per assistere agli appuntamenti previsti nel programma e ammirare con attenzione le opere esibite dagli artisti partecipanti, ossia Alessandro Allegra, Alessandra Ienco, Alessandra Palamara, Antonio Barresi, Carmelo Zoccali, Enzo Catania, Gianluca Chininea, Il Falco, La Regina, Mimma Esposito, Pasquale Ferrara, Katia Gramuglia, Nunzio Rizzo.
Conosciuti rapidamente questi ultimi e inaugurata la mostra, la presidente Mimma Garoffolo e il sindaco Cesare Zappia hanno consegnato un riconoscimento per il fotografo Francesco Gioffré, ritirato dalle figlie Maria Carmela e Maria Rosaria, per la sua grande capacità di immortalare la storia nel Novecento bagnarese e calabrese nell'attimo di uno scatto e con la sua poliedrica vena artistica e sperimentale.
Si è passati poi alla proiezione del docu-film “La città perduta. Seminara, per secoli protagonista nella storia”, un gioiello riecheggiante ancora il glorioso passato della nostra terra e che merita l'attenzione di tutte le autorità e gli enti competenti per la formazione storico-culturale delle nuove generazioni e per il rilancio economico-turistico calabrese, seguito da un dibattito in compagnia dello scrittore Santo Gioffré e dello studioso di storia locale Domenico Cambareri, coordinati dallo scrittore e ricercatore Natale Zappalà; i tre, soffermandosi su aneddoti significativi attinti dal passato, hanno sottolineato l’importanza di conoscere e valorizzare il patrimonio storico-culturale locale, per comprendere oggigiorno la propria identità calabrese.
Cominciando a deliziare il palato con kebab e vino locale, si è dato spazio quindi alla letteratura con la presentazione di Reggio è un blues di Antonio Calabrò, coadiuvato dall'editore Salvatore Bellantone, dal giornalista e studioso di storia locale Domenico Forgione e dalla Bad Chili Blues Band, in formazione light con Domenico Canale, Rodolfo Megale e Antonio Moscato. Accesa la celebre luce della conoscenza della lanterna di Disoblio Edizioni, Domenico Forgione si è addentrato nel testo mettendone in risalto l'essenza, vale a dire il racconto coraggioso e sofferente dei drammi, delle storture, delle storie e delle bellezze dimenticate da una popolazione decadente e impoverita dalla crisi economica e dei valori, dalla criminalità e da un modo di pensare ormai quasi rassegnato, nella quale però cresce il germe della speranza e della rinascita, simboleggiata dal corteo di protesta contro il rogo del Museo dello Strumento Musicale. Disgrazie e speranza raccontate dall'autore, Antonio Calabrò, sulle note del blues della Bad Chili, elencando, come è solito fare ironicamente, i pregi e i difetti di una Calabria che soltanto a partire dalla consapevolezza di essi può rinascere; consapevolezza che scotta, brucia come la fiamma stessa della lanterna nel momento in cui la si accende, ma che può offrire l'occasione di illuminare il futuro della nostra terra e dei suoi figli, a patto che si accetti il dolore della sua scottatura iniziale.
Bellissime le coreografie “The Mask” e “I pagliacci” delle ragazze della Scuola di Danza “Ariadne” della maestra Idelma di Rago e della figlia Carmela Caratozzolo, che hanno invitato simbolicamente a togliersi le maschere che la società di massa e dei consumi ha piazzato sulle facce di ognuno di noi per renderci schiavi, perché, guardandosi allo specchio, ci si rende conto di essere soltanto dei buffoni rispetto ai nostri antenati e ai valori umani ereditati nella nostra coscienza.
Divertentissimi i ragazzi della Compagnia Teatrale “Argos”, i quali, con la commedia brillante “U figghjiu masculu” e con la potenza della risata – strumento terapeutico, catartico e in grado di mettere a mettere a soqquadro la serietà moderna – hanno fatto capire quanto è importante la comunicazione con altri, la parola, in un'epoca in cui si parla e si comunica continuamente e, il più delle volte, ci si fraintende, generando situazioni al limite della ragione; ciò perché ognuno, solitario con i propri problemi, è ormai abituato ad ascoltare soltanto se stesso e a comprendere della parola altrui soltanto quello che il proprio egocentrismo e la propria sofferenza gli fanno sentire. Ma ridendo delle disgrazie altrui, per mezzo dell'arte teatrale, si può capire quanto è importante ridere di se stessi e dei propri limiti e quanto è determinante nella relazione con l'altro e nella formazione di una nuova comunità rieducarsi tutti alla buona comunicazione.
Immancabile la presenza dell'emittente radiofonica Radiobagnaraweb che ha trasmesso in diretta streaming tutto l'evento, consentendo anche a coloro che erano assenti per ragioni di salute o di distanza geografica di allietarsi per una sera, con un mix di sano cibo per la mente e per lo spirito, in compagnia di tanti amici che, nel proprio piccolo, cercano di fare qualcosa di buono per se stessi, per gli altri e per coloro che verranno, in una terra che attraversa tante difficoltà ma che ha in seno le potenzialità per decidere la propria fortuna futura, facoltà nelle quali, uno alla volta, si spera cominceranno credere tanti altri.
