“Ho abbracciato la causa del riciclo perché l’arte è un mezzo universale che consente di raggiungere tutte le fasce sociali”. A parlare è Valentina Leuzzi, giovane artista bagnarese, laureata presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti, intervenuta nel corso del Convegno organizzato al Grand Hotel Victoria dal Lions Club “Torre Ruggiero” di Bagnara intitolato “DifferenziAMO Bagnara”.
E proprio le opere della Leuzzi, realizzate interamente con materiali riciclati, sono state una delle attrattive principali della manifestazione: “Ho utilizzato materiali di recupero per creare queste opere perché tutti gli oggetti di uso comune possono essere riutilizzati. La differenziata collima con le mie opere perché seguono lo stesso principio, quello di ridare vita a qualcosa di altrimenti inutilizzato. Un consiglio che darei per differenziare? Sicuramente limitare il consumo e differenziare non solo per una questione etica e morale, ma perché costituisce una risorsa per noi e per la nostra economia”.
Valentina Leuzzi aveva già avuto modo di farsi conoscere quest’estate per mezzo della mostra “Ri-creation” svoltasi al Castello Ruffo, dove erano state esibite per la prima volta le sue opere e quelle di altri artisti locali realizzate con l’arte del riciclo.
